VISUAL IDENTITY
From TRIBU Cultural Space, I was entrusted with the graphic identity of the third edition of the Cosmic Contemporary Culture Fair, held annually since 2021.
The motto for this edition was ";cuanto aún no es," an ambiguous and open-ended phrase that starts with a semicolon. TRIBU aimed to convey a sense of uncertainty echoing the commemoration of 50 years since the coup in Uruguay.
With a solemn intention yet a resilient force, and delving into philosophical content about time, the past, and memory, the visual identity was crafted.
The graphic system was designed through a structured grid with generous white spaces, softened gradients, and a granulated texture. Additionally, a transversal graphic element, the half-ring derived from the logotype, creates a new rhetorical symbol reminiscent of Familiares' daisy.
